Pleading the Cause of the Children

John 9:39-41: And Jesus said, "For judgment I am come into the world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see may be made blind.   And some of the Pharisees which were with Him heard these words and said unto Him, "Are we blind also?"  Jesus said unto them, "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, "We see; therefore, your sin remaineth."

Just as Saul needed to be blinded to all he had been taught, all he had learned of God and of the Scriptures  (for he had been educated as man of the Torah-the law of God); so, many of us need to be blinded to all we think we understand about what Jesus has said to us in His Words.  Fresh eyes are needed.  Eyes anointed with the eye-salve of the Holy Spirit, which clarify our vision and make it possible to comprehend Jesus's many warnings about all which is about to come upon the earth.

Just as the Pharisees believed they had all understanding about the Scriptures and about the estate of their own hearts, so, many in this land believe that they have the knowledge of God and of Christ Jesus.  But I ask, if we have, as we assert, all knowledge of Jesus, then why do we live in a decaying, dying, putrefied land?  Knowing about God is not the same as knowing HIM; it is not the same as being known BY Him.  

The eyes have become dim; the cataracts are thick.  Foolish hearts call Jesus 'Lord,' but do not what He says.  Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep My commandments."  

Jesus specifically said to Peter "If ye love Me, feed my lambs."  Jesus renamed Simon (which means 'hearing') 'Peter,' which means Rock.  Jesus said upon this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  If Peter was called to tend the sheep of God, how much are we all called to tend to one another and to our flocks of children?  As sheep of Jesus's fold, we know our Shepherd's voice.  We also know His Words, and out of love, we speak forth His Words to one another daily, even when those Words at times will wound as the Spirit of God cuts into our hearts to root out the cancer of sin which is in all of us.

In John 10, Jesus says: "I am the good Shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.  He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.  He flees because he is a hired hand and is not concerned about the sheep.  I am the good Shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep."

If we, as Christian parents, truly love our children and desire to be faithful shepherds of our little flocks, we will feed our children only good things.  We will keep them from that which poisons the mind against God and leads them to the love of the world.  We will heal the bitter, naughty, deadly waters with salt as Elisha did.  We will not be those who cast stumbling blocks before our own children.  Our hypocrisy is a stumbling block.  If we do not flee evil (of all and every form) the children likewise will give place to evil.  If we bring them evil tools and games, they will play with them, and be defiled by them.  

My heart aches for the dear children of this land who are turned aside from believing in Jesus and from following Him.  Children are being mutilated in the womb, and we've never been moved to stop it.  Children are molested, sodomized, and raped, both physically and virtually, due to the pornography that has demonized so many in this land.  Who will stand against it?  When I cry aloud about it, none seem moved.  How can a holy and righteous God not judge us for our utter inaction in these cases?  We are fit for a millstone to be tied to our necks and be cast into the sea.

I beg you, I plead with you, for God's sake, and for the children you claim to love, rip out the tools of evil and darkness from your homes.  Ask God for eyes to see all the evil that is before you in the form of games, videos, books, computers, etc.  Ask God to give back the Holy Spirit conviction which has been quenched by the household of faith who will not admit to the folly and the sin of tolerating that which is evil in their midst.  

Be chaste to your Betrothed, even to Jesus.  He cares for His children; they are His creation.  He has put them in your care and under your charge.  He demands an accounting by you.  Are you laying stumbling blocks before your kids' eyes (as I have in the past) and then wondering at their lack of desire to serve God Almighty?  

Please, choose today to cast off the works of darkness and to put on a garment of light and to have your homes restored.  God's reward is great to the faithful.  He desires to give us good gifts; we have to let our desire be for those things which are eternal and good and pure.

Jesus asks us why we call Him Lord, but do not do what He says.  Would He really tolerate all the evil we tolerate, download, watch, read or play with?  I know, that we know, that He certainly would not and He does not.  Does God laugh at sin?  Absolutely not!  Will any of this wickedness be included in the new heavens and the new earth or during Christ's millennial reign?  Of course not.  Why then do we allow it, invite it, tolerate it, and ultimately accept it?  We have been beguiled and we need to repent of it, turn from it, turn to Him and be healed.  We need to do this now.  If not, the blood of the innocent children is dripping from our hands, and it cries out to God.

We are all moved by the videos which depict Planned Parenthood selling baby parts.  I'm sure we all knew in our hearts that this was happening.  What do we really think stem cell research was all about anyway?  We pretend to have been unawares.  This is reprehensible.

Why are we not moved by the fact that we've sold our children into Satan's system?  We have done this.  We have to cop to the truth.  We've given them over to be educated in every evil work.  They know all the deep things of Satan, and they are not being educated in the things of God, the fear of the Lord, nor His commands and decrees.   Oh, do not protest this!  A tertiary understanding of the outskirts of God's Word is not to be compared to the utter brainwashing the children have received by the rulers of this dark world.  And we have introduced the children to these rulers and commanders of Satan's army.  We have left our children to a pack of wolves to be babysat, so that we can have the free time to pursue our own selfish, evil, lustful desires.

We need to, one by one, household by household, cast the evil things out from our midst.  The Shepherds in the pulpit are not bold enough to say this to you.  They are hirelings, who care more for their wages (from you, their servants) than they do for your souls and the souls of your children.  You've been fleeced, dear sheep, and you've been lied to.

It is not a small thing to God that we have lead our children into sin and that we have allowed them to explore Satan's wilderness for themselves.  You are to be a protection, a covering, a hedge, even unto the point of giving your life.  Can you not even give up your free time (if you won't give your life), to make sure that the children are protected during their free time?  Are you too busy basking in evil, magic, violence, lust, and foolish pleasure yourself, that you have had to abdicate your duties to God and to your charges?  Have you had to hire wolves to sit with your precious babes so that you can tend to your own lust?

Tolerating evil images, movies, music, games, books, violence, soft or hard core porn, sorcery, witchcraft, drug and alcohol use--this is all heinous in God's sight.  We've lead the children to bitter waters, and we foolishly assign the blame to others.  We cannot continue to give them Wormwood to drink, and then wonder why they are depressed, anxious, suicidal, terrorized, rebellious, cantankerous and discontent.  Please listen to God.  The cure is salt.  You, as a Christian parent are the salt.  Your children's lives are at stake.  It is a worthwhile thing to tear down the idols of evil from your midst and protect the little ones from evil.  

We are living in a cesspool of filth here.  We need to start effectuating the cleanup.  God's power to cure the bitter waters (read about Elisha), is a great power indeed.  God is the ultimate restorer of all that we have broken down.  Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who do build it.  But when the Lord builds it, it cannot be destroyed.

Jesus says, Everyone who comes to Me and hears My Words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.  But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.

Our Prayer

Precious Heavenly Father, thank you for your Holy Word, which you have exalted even above Your own great name.  We give you all the glory, honor and praise, and we extol your excellencies to all men, for You alone are worthy.  We do not deserve your tender mercies, but we are ever thankful for them.  Your love, which You commended toward us while we were yet sinners, is beyond all compare and unfathomable.  We bless your name and declare your wondrous works!  You are Holy, and Mighty and all powerful.  

Dear Lord, we know the sins of our nation our great, and that they stink to Your throne in Heaven.  This nation, once called by your name, has greatly forgotten You, the Rock of our Salvation.  We have disdained you in our homes, our churches and our governments.  We have set up evil idols in Your place, and have bowed down to them everywhere.   

Our disgrace and our shame is ever before us.  We know that we have heaped upon ourselves great judgment and doom and that You, in Your justice, and because of your mercy upon the innocent cannot forever delay in recompensing evil for this evil.  Lord, because of the great evils done in this land, for the murdering of 60,000,000+ precious children, for the sodomy and for the abuse of children, for the sick love of violence and witchcraft, for the constant derision of your Holy Word, for the haughty look upon the faces of your children who will not repent and rend their hearts and seek Your face and ask for mercy, for all of these evils and more, Your judgments are being stored up until that Day when You will come and show Yourself to be the Ruler and Judge of all the earth.

Lord, Holy and True, You are righteous and You will take Your power and reign soon upon this earth, then the world will see that You alone created Heaven and Earth and everything in it.  Then every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.  

Dear Lord Jesus, until that day when you return, please grant Your children mercy as You see fit, please give us the strength to endure what is sure to be the most heinous of all tribulations, worse than anything this world has ever seen.  

Lord Jesus, we cast all our cares upon You alone, for You care for us.  Your love endures forever and Your faithfulness is our great hope and our strength and our song.   

Lord Jesus, please let us be found watching, with our lamps full, and faithfully fulfilling our commissions, so that each of us may hear those most precious of all words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”  Lord Jesus, to be Your servant is better than to be ruler of a nation.  One day in Your courts is better than a thousand days elsewhere.   

Lord Jesus, we desire to walk with You daily, to commune with You continually, to never stray from Your side, to be led by You alone.  Lord Jesus, please let your servants be ever more sensitive to Your sweet voice, that we may hear Your beaconing call even above the loudest din.   

Lord we thank You and praise You for creating us in Your glorious image, and for putting Your seal upon our foreheads and in our hearts.  We ask that you keep us from temptation, and that you deliver us from all evil, for you instructed us to pray that we escape all these things.  We cling to every promise You have given to us as Your children, and we thank You for telling us the end from the beginning so that we have no cause to fear.  We thank You for leaving us Your peace which passes all understanding and which enables us Your servants to walk through the fire and not be consumed, to pass through the waters and not be overflown.  

You are great, and merciful and we thank You for choosing us to be Your servants.  Please hide Your Words deep in our hearts and write Your Words on the tablets of our hearts and bring it to our remembrance in the time of trouble.  We trust You to care for us.  We cling to you as children, and we hide ourselves under the shadow of Your great Wing.  We desire to dwell in the secret place with You, to be hidden in You.  Keep us Heavenly Father, for Jesus sake, so that we may be a holy people, bringing You the honor and glory that You so rightly deserve.  Let our lips praise You; let our hearts rejoice in You, the Rock of our Salvation!  For You are worthy of our honor and praise.  We ask all things in the perfect name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
